Remediation

At CES Group our personnel have a long history in the use and development of innovative in-situ remediation technologies . We have first hand experience in the design and use of approximately twenty remediation technologies. Our Team has contributed to the original development and implementation of such soil and groundwater remediation technologies as Soil Vapor Extraction, In-situ Chemical Oxidation, and Electrical Resistive Heating (ERH).

Soil Vapor Extraction - participated in original EPA SVE technology demonstration. Developed SVE vapor treatment systems.
Multi-Phase Extraction - Team Member's were first to apply MPE and demonstrate for US EPA.
Insitu Thermal Remediation - Team members participated in the original commercialization of the in-situ thermal technology Electrical Resistive Heating (ERH). Completed first commercial application of ERH in California.
In-situ Chemical Oxidation - CES Staff were one of the first to use this technology in Southern California and the first to treat recalcitrant compounds such as MtBE.
In-situ Bioremediation - CES Group personnel have participated in numerous in-situ bioremediation of groundwater.

Landfill Operations, Monitoring, and Maintenance

CES Group and our skilled technical staff have performed operations, monitoring and maintenance (OM&M) of various landfill systems. We have completed or are currently working on thirteen separate landfill projects for both active and closed landfills (Post-Closure OM&M). Our landfill experience includes routine operation and maintenance of leachate collection and other liquid conveyance systems, groundwater sampling and reporting, soil vapor probe network installation and monitoring, reporting., landfill cap settlement monitoring and reporting, landfill cap inspections and repair, system drainage, and SCAQMD Rule 1150.1 sampling as needed.

CES is proud to announce renewal of our partnership with OC Waste and Recycling Central Region Landfill. CES Group continues to provide Landfill Operations, Monitoring, and Maintenance services for the Leachate collection and other liquid conveyance systems including landfill groundwater sampling, measuring, and post-closure maintenance on multiple Landfills in the Central Region.
