History

The history of the Civil Environmental Survey Group Inc, (CES Group) spans more than 15 years of environmental site assessment, SWPPP, and remediation in California. Our firm was formed in 2001 to provide a unique site assessment and remediation capability to our clients while providing a secure, challenging, and rewarding environment for our employees. The personnel in our firm have a history of successful use of innovative remediation technologies through out California and worldwide.

CES Group is certified by the State of California and Department of Transportation (DOT) as a Disadvantage business Enterprise (DBE) in 2011. CES Group’s personnel have a long history of site assessment, pilot testing and use of cutting edge remediation technology for our clients. We strive to be an extension of our clients team and support their remediation and environmental needs with proven engineering solutions and experienced field support.

Our remediation experience is first hand and spans the implementation of approximately twenty remedial technologies including proven technologies such as Soil Vacuum Extraction (SVE) and innovative remediation technologies such as Electrical Resistance Heating (ERH) and in-situ Thermal technologies. We support our clients in remediation technology selection, feasibility studies, pilot testing, construction, system operation, reporting, maintenance and monitoring.

Our staff has an extensive history of performing remediation projects. This “hands on” experience gives us the ability to:

Control project costs
Optimize performance of remediation technologies
Improve remediation system operations
Develop costs for several remediation options
Provide value engineering support for our field operations

Our experience has shown that due to site conditions or client requirements that often one remediation technology will not be able to accomplish the remediation goals within the clients requested time frame. Our history of implementing multiple remediation technologies will also be used to evaluate a “combined remedy” were multiple remediation technologies can be used to address varying site conditions applying the strengths of each technology where it can be most effective.
